2025 Volvo XC60 Facelift Launched in India on August 1| New 11.2-Inch Touchscreen, Updated Design, and Premium Features

Volvo releases the new XC60 facelift with an updated design and technology.

Just a day after the Ford Motor Company had announced its plans to restart production within the US, the highly anticipated facelift of the XC60 was unveiled by Volvo on August 1, a vehicle that is considered to offer a mix of luxury and performance. The new model will be designed with striking new features and an advanced 11.2-inch touchscreen that will transform user experiences and that is a significant move to the Swedish car maker.

New Skin: Design Overhaul

The facelift on the XC60 presents a more modern and polished look to the mid-size luxury SUV of Volvo. The front grille has also been updated to provide an even more prominent appearance, with headlights that are much slimmer and sharper and sport the Thor Hammer LED design made famous by Volvo. The slightly modified front bumper and fresh designs of alloy wheels confer a more sporty look on the XC60, but they are also not at the expense of the car or its sporty super-elegant look.

Coming to the rear, new taillights are added to make this vehicle look even more sleek, and minor bodywork changes were made to make the vehicle more aerodynamic. All these changes improve the overall visual appearance not only of the XC60 but also reinforce its premium nature in the increasingly competitive segment.

Technology: A New Standards of Connectivity

In the cabin, the XC60 will be updated with loads of new technology and most of all is the 11.2-inch touchscreen system which has a lot of features. The size of this revamped screen is much bigger compared to that of the old model and it provides a more responsive and easy to use interface. The new touchscreen uses the Android based infotainment system developed by Volvo and it also features Google Assistant, Maps, and Play and there is full compatibility with the Google ecosystem.

Past the screen, the new XC60 also has an upgraded voice recognition capability that allows one to operate several features using the least amount of distraction. A new digital digital driver display is also present, which is clearer and customizable also up to a greater extent.

Productivity and Safety: A Value to Excellence

Volvo is sticking to the formula of comfort and safety along with technological wizardry in the facelift but has not lost its touch of performance. Depending on the model, the XC60 will again come with VolVO famous Pilot Assist, providing semi-autonomous driving options, as well as a series of other safety systems such as adaptive cruise, lane-keeping, and collision-avoidance systems.

It has been known that there are two engine options on offer with the XC60 under the hood that include hybrid variants. The powertrain combination is geared towards providing a good portion of fuel efficiency and power, to make the vehicle not only a pleasure to drive but also has a low ecological impact.

Prices and Retail policies

Information about prices of the redesigned XC60 is not available yet, but it should not be any different than current prices, which begin at about $44,000. With the improvements of the design and the technology, this facelift is supposed to keep the XC60 as a leading competitor in the luxury SUV market.

These refreshes make the Volvo XC60 facelift a vehicle that appeals, not only to people with strong sense of independence and style but also to those who value technology and performance, which is a new quality in luxury SUVs.
